At the end of December 2024, the first pellet transport truck produced by AVTOKRAFT was officially put into operation in Krasnoyarsk. The vehicle will be used to supply heating pellets to private households in the region. A single pellet truck delivery to a storage bunker located on a residential property is sufficient to heat a private home for 10 days.
The adoption of pellet heating systems has demonstrated high economic efficiency, as state subsidies make pellet heating cheaper than gas. Additionally, pellets are environmentally friendly, being produced from wood processing waste, and the ash residue left after combustion can be used as fertilizer.
Moving forward, the leading forest industry holding "Segezha Group" plans to expand the number of pellet-heated homes in Krasnoyarsk, increase the fleet of pellet transport trucks, and promote the use of pellet heating systems across Russia.
