A garbage truck on a Chinese JAC chassis with Turkish EMI-mounted equipment has begun operation under the waste collection regional operator "Grinta" in the Republic of Tatarstan.

- "We assemble vehicles with two types of bodies—8 and 10 cubic meters. In terms of weight, the larger body holds up to 7 tons of waste, while the smaller one accommodates 5 tons. The trucks are equipped with an Italian press that compacts anything—concrete, wood, you name it," specialists explain.

The first three JAC garbage trucks have been produced. They are designed for urban courtyards, where compact size and maneuverability are crucial. These "garbage Gazelles" feature rear loading rather than side loading. The first customer has already purchased three trucks, meaning we will soon see how these "mini garbage trucks made in Chelny" perform in real-world operations.

- "After Grinta took over, a huge fleet of large (8-16 ton), old, heavily used garbage trucks from 'Chelnykommunhoz' became redundant. Many of these vehicles are in such poor condition that they seem destined for the landfill. But KAMAZ is like a Lego set—you never need to scrap it," says entrepreneur and Tatarstan State Council deputy Oleg Korobchenko.
