The fleet of waste collection vehicles serving the city of Pyatigorsk has been expanded with five new-generation garbage trucks. These modern waste collection vehicles meet environmental standards for operation in the resort region.
The delivery was made possible thanks to the close cooperation between the regional operator "ZhKH" and leading Russian and international manufacturers of municipal equipment. When selecting specialized vehicles to meet the city's needs, the company focused on compact trucks, which are essential for densely populated urban areas, narrow courtyard passages, and streets with difficult terrain. Pyatigorsk has many such locations, including the historic Teplosernaya Street and the densely populated Belaya Romashka district.
Currently, compact JAC (China) garbage trucks, equipped with EMI (Turkey) waste collection units with 8 and 10 cubic meter bunkers, meet these requirements. These trucks replace ISUZU vehicles, which are exiting the Russian municipal vehicle market. JAC’s key advantage over many other brands, including domestic models, lies in its small size and maneuverability, allowing it to operate in areas where KAMAZ and other large municipal vehicles face difficulties.
The versatility of the new garbage trucks allows them to handle Euro containers of any capacity and operate on streets where individual waste collection is performed. The body design ensures that leachate spills are completely eliminated, and the hopper configuration prevents lightweight waste from scattering, contributing to cleaner container sites.
Drivers have also noted the comfort of the new vehicles, including simple and reliable equipment operation, comfortable cab with air conditioning, maximum visibility with panoramic mirrors, rearview camera for improved safety
The trucks are equipped with GLONASS tracking sensors, and each garbage truck has been integrated into the regional operator’s digital monitoring system for real-time tracking of operations.
This marks the second delivery of specialized vehicles for cities within the "ZhKH" regional operator's service area. A month earlier, five additional garbage trucks were delivered to the cities of Kislovodsk, Essentuki, and Nevinnomyssk.
