A special truck designed for transporting oil sludge with a liquid phase. The vehicle uses the Shacman X3000 6x6 dump truck chassis with full-wheel drive, allowing the sludge truck to operate in temperatures from -50°C to +50°C. It can be used in forestry, oil and gas, and other industries, for transporting products from the gas extraction and oil refining industries, as well as for engineering and earthmoving works. The manipulator crane with additional equipment and the dump body allows the sludge truck to operate as a versatile self-propelled engineering machine.
The cargo dump truck-sludge truck is built on the all-terrain Shacman X3000 6x6 chassis, which is equipped with operational equipment for transporting slag. The main design element is the special sealed body used for transporting oil sludge. Oil sludge is a complex mixture consisting of oil, impurities (clay, metals, sand), and water. The dump truck-sludge truck is used for transporting waste from oil fields: drilled rock brought up by drilling mud from the wellhead to the surface; products of wet grinding of quartz sand, etc. The body is a dump type with a hydraulic lift for gravity unloading into a container for sludge accumulation and processing. The top of the body has a lid with a hatch opening mechanism for loading.
To mechanize the loading and independent collection of oil sludge, the Shacman X3000 6x6 sludge truck includes a hydraulic manipulator with a two-jaw digging grab with a volume of 300 liters. The hydraulic crane-manipulator with grab equipment features a Z-shaped articulated boom design, with a rigid (articulated) suspension of the load-bearing device (hook, grab, etc.) which is pivotally mounted on the boom head. The boom head is equipped with a rotator. When folded, the boom is positioned transversely behind the truck cabin, taking up minimal space. The hydraulic manipulator for sludge comes with a closed-type two-jaw grab with a volume of 0.3 m³, allowing for lifting, assembling, and digging operations. The boom has a useful lifting capacity of 5200 kg at a 2.1-meter reach. The maximum boom reach is 5.48 meters, with a lifting capacity of 2200 kg at the maximum reach.
