A vacuum sludge truck is a type of equipment that uses the vacuum principle of operation. It is used for cleaning sewage or drainage systems from silt (and similar materials), transporting them to disposal points. The sludge truck can be operated year-round.
What distinguishes a sludge truck from an cesspool cleaner:
- Opening tank and hydraulic tipping mechanism for dump unloading;
- Additional tank for clean water;
- Water pressure gun for washing off deposits;
- Suction boom for ease of use;
- Pumps used in sludge trucks have twice the efficiency, up to 720 m³/h;
- The sludge truck can suck out waste from a depth of up to 8 meters, while cesspool trucks can only manage up to 4 meters.
